Ultime sirenette(lo prometto!) della stagione: stavolta nei toni del turchese e verde, su basi in resina(stampi Geacreations) tutta glitterata e con tante bollicine sempre in resina(stampo Freakemporium): che ne dite?

Sea treasures

Qualche piccola sirenetta sulle nuove basi in resina a forma di conchiglia(stampo by GeaCreations): che ne dite? Ho usato per la prima volta la pasta Soufflè della Sculpey: la consistenza mi piace tanto, è morbida e lavorabile, molto simile al vecchio Studio Sculpey che amavo.

Some little mermaids on the new shell-shaped resin bases (mold by GeaCreations): what about them? I used the Soufflè Sculpey clay for the first time: I really liked the consistency, it's soft and workable, very similar to the old Studio Sculpey that I loved.

Acchiappasogni

Sono gli ultimi giorni di vacanza e ne sto approfittanto per utilizzare, almeno in parte, il materiale creativo che ho accumulato negli ultimi tempi, in particolare uno splendido stampo acchiappasogni per la resina e tanti nuovi pigmenti effetto camaleonte (vi parlerò poi, nella sezione del blog dedicata alle recensioni, degli shop dove li ho acquistati).

Ho così realizzato questi acchiappasogni da appendere:

These are my last days of vacation and I'm taking advantage of it to use some of the creative material I have recently bought, in particular a beautiful dreamcatcher mold for resin and many new chameleon effect pigments (I'll tell you later, in the blog section dedicated to reviews, the shops where I have found them).
So I made these dreamcatchers:

Pigmenti Chameleon sia per la base in resina che per le ali delle fatine: guardando le creazioni da angolazioni diverse entrambe cambiano colore (purtroppo in foto non si nota quasi per nulla ma nel mio profilo Instagram troverete, tra i contenuti in evidenza, dei brevi video in cui l'effetto è invece molto evidente). Sulle ali ne ho usata una tipologia diversa, non in polvere ma in flakes, dall'effetto molto più luminoso e cangiante, davvero una bella scoperta(peccato siano abbastanza difficoltosi da stendere e decisamente più costosi di quelli tradizionali).

Chameleon pigments for both the resin base and the fairies wings: looking at the creations from different angles they change color (unfortunately in the picture you cannot notice it but in my Instagram profile you will find, among the featured content, short videos in which the effect is instead very evident). On the wings I have used a different pigment type, not powder but flakes, with a much brighter and iridescent effect, really a beautiful discovery (unfortunately they are quite difficult to use and definitely more expensive than traditional ones).

E no, non poteva passare un'intera stagione di matrimoni senza che io realizzassi almeno un cake topper per delle nozze, più piccolino(sui 15 cm circa) e un po' diverso dai miei soliti ma comunque molto apprezzato su Facebook (spero lo sia anche dagli sposi che lo riceveranno).

And not, it could not be spent a whole weddings season without me realizing at least one cake topper, smaller (about 15 cm) and a little different from my usual ones but very much appreciated on Facebook (I hope it will be the same for those who will receive it!).

Coraline e i sei anni della principessa

Dopo più di due mesi rieccomi qui sul blog, ho da recuperare un sacco di post e comincio da questo dedicato alla festa di compleanno della mia bimba. Il tema che ha scelto è stato "Coraline e la porta magica", film di qualche anno fa che abbiamo visto insieme quest'inverno...avrà voluto mandarmi un (neache troppo)velato messaggio?

Sul cake topper c'è Coraline, il gatto e altri dettagli che per chi ha visto il film saranno di sicuro familiari(la bambola, la scatola coi bottoni...), più un enorme numero sei(l'età della festeggiata) tutto glitterato.

After more than a month I'm back here on the blog, I have to write a lot of posts and I start from this one dedicated to my daughter's birthday party. The chosen theme was "Coraline and the magic door", a film that we watched together during the past winter ... do you think she wanted to send me a kind of a message?
On the cake topper there are Coraline, the cat and other details familiar for those who have seen the film(the doll, the box with the buttons ...), plus a huge all glittery number six (the age of the party girl).
